Dr. Mendoza is a geriatrician with vast experience caring for high-risk, frail, medically complex older adults. Her clinical practice is focused extensively across the care spectrum of skilled nursing facilities, home-based care, and outpatient care. She is a member of the core faculty of the geriatric fellowship program and an associate program director. She is committed to training, supporting, and empowering all members of the patient’s clinical team. Her primary interest in education is the creation of educational opportunities aimed at training all members of the clinical care team to provide high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care to the growing population of older adults.
