Laura Morton, MD, CMD, is an Associate Professor, Family and Geriatric Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and Director of the Department's Community Nursing Home Program, Director of the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program, John C. Wright, M.D. Endowed Professor on Aging, and Director of the Division of Geriatric Medicine. She is immediate-past president of the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine Board of Directors and she serves on the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services Long-term Care Advisory Task Force. She serves as Attending Physician and Medical Director at three nursing facilities.
