Xiangrong Shao, MD, FACP, is clinical instructor of medicine at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Attending Physician, medical acupuncturist at VA Maryland Healthcare system, Loch Raven Medical Center, Loch Raven Community Living and Rehabilitation Center. She teaches medical residents and geriatric medicine fellows in long term care setting. She is also medical acupuncturist and Battlefield Acupuncture instructor. She provide onside acupuncture therapy for long term care patients and teaches provider for the skill of battlefield acupuncture. she is board certified for internal medicine, geriatric medicine, hospice and palliative medicine as well as licensed for medical acupuncture.
