Charles Semelka, MD is an Assistant Professor in Geriatric Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He attended medical school at UNC Chapel Hill before pursuing Internal Medicine residency training followed by a fellowship in geriatrcs medicine at Wake Forest University. He completed a research postdoc with thesis on COVID-19 vaccine immunology in the longterm care setting. He is the medical director of Bermuda Village CCRC SNF and practices outpatient primary care. He continues to do research focussed on the skilled nursing home population.
