Claire Regan, DNP, CRNP, is a former assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and continues to work as a nurse practitioner in the long-term care setting. She is a member of the editorial board for the Geriatric Nursing Journal, a former board member of the Maryland chapter of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association, and served on multiple committees for AMDA, the society for post-acute and long-term care.
