Dr Veronica Nwagwu MD, CWSP, is a Clinical Assist. Professor in the division of geriatrics and palliative Medicine at the Univeristy of Michigan.

She is a board certified Family phyisician, Geriatrician and Wound Specialist physician (CWSP) . Dr Nwagwu works in the primary care setting as well as the subacute care space where she teaches medical students ,residents and fellows . She is also the current DEI /Wellness faculty lead of the division of geriatrics and palliative medicine at University of Michigan.

Dr Veronica Nwagwu is the current national co-chair for the Wound Care Special Interest Group at the American Geriatric Society (AGS) and also serves as an abstract reviewer for the American Geriatric Society! She is on the panel for ISTAP- International Skin Tear Advisory Panel and serves as a member for WCCC Wound Care Collaborative Community.
