Irene Hamrick, MD, CMD, AGSF, is a Professor and Chief of Geriatrics at the University of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati VA and has been certified medical director of various facilities since 1999. Previously, she was Medical Director of the advanced practice provider in long-term care program, the Geriatric Services Director of the department of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. At East Carolina University, Dr. Hamrick was previously the Chief of Geriatrics and geriatric fellowship director. She is the immediate previous chair of the health systems innovation, economics and technology committee of the American Geriatrics Society.
