Zahra Merchant, PhD is a Senior Scientist of Research, Development & Innovation at Evonik North America, Vancouver Laboratories. She holds a PhD and Masters of Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the UCL School of Pharmacy, London. She has over 9 years of experience in the field of drug delivery including liposomes, micelles, polymeric and lipid nanoparticles and has worked on delivery of numerous molecules including hightly potent cancer chemotherapeutics as well as delivery of nucleic acids- mRNA and siRNA.
