I am Mahadevan (Maha) Lakshminarasimhan, PhD from Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ USA. I am part of the Regulated Bioanalysis PK&ADA, within the Preclinical Development. My group and I support critical reagent characterization and provide scientific oversight on their generation, for both biologics and vaccine programs. I have over 14 years of work experience in various organizations in academia and biotech, where I specialized in protein purification and characterization using biochemical and biophysical methods.
I received my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth and Max-Planck Institute, Germany, focusing on structural characterization of enzymes using protein x-ray crystallography. After graduation, I joined the Stowers Institute for Medical Research as a postdoctoral fellow, where I performed research on mass spectrometry based label free quantitative proteomics.
