Doug McIntosh is a seasoned trial attorney in all areas of his practice. He has represented a variety of leading businesses over his 41-year career, in the product liability, professional liability (legal, medical and other professionals) , maritime, and insurance coverage/bad faith practice areas. He has tried over 100 cases and served as lead counsel on over 1000 mediations. Doug testifies often in state and fedeal courts as an expert in legal malpractice and bad faith litigation. He is called on to serve as an arbitrator and also as and agreed, select mediator in complex cases. He has co-chaired the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Practice Group at Segal McCambridge, since he merged the firm he founded in 1989, with that national litigation firm in 2020. He has served voluntary bar associations including FDLA (President, 1995); DRI (Florida State Representative, 1998-2003; Elected National Director 2003-2006); and the ADTA and ACCC . He was an active member of IADC from 1987-2019.
