Before founding Lundberg Legal Ethics in 2015, Charles Lundberg was a partner at the Minneapolis trial law firm of Bassford Remele for more than 35 years, practicing primarily as a “lawyer’s lawyer” — advising attorneys and law firms on matters involving legal malpractice, legal ethics, and other areas of the law of lawyering. He served for twelve years on the Minnesota Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board, including six years as Board Chair, and is recognized nationally as a leader in the fields of legal ethics and professional liability. He has served as President of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, the Chair of the Professional Liability Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel, and currently serves as a member of the ABA Standing Committee on Lawyers Professional Liability.
During his active practice at Bassford Remele, Mr. Lundberg was repeatedly recognized as a Top 100 Super Lawyer and was named a Top 10 Appellate Super Lawyer. For many years, he has been selected as a Leading American Attorney and one of The Best Lawyers in America in the fields of Appellate Law and Legal Malpractice Law.
For many years, Chuck has been actively engaged in teaching. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at his alma mater, the University of Minnesota Law School, where he teaches courses on Professional Responsibility and Legal Malpractice Law.
