Marcella Calfon Press MD.PhD. is an attending cardiologist and an Associate Clinical Professor of Cardiology at the
David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is Director of the Transcatheter Mitral Valve/TEER Program,
Associate Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and Co-Director of the UCLA Women's Cardiovascular
Health Center. A native of New York, Dr. Press is also one of the few female interventional cardiologists to perform
complex coronary and structural interventions including CHIP and Transcatheter-Edge to Edge Repair. Her research
interests include management of coronary artery disease in women, as well as transcatheter therapies for mitral and
tricuspid valve disease. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, SCAI and the American
Heart Association.
