David Gelikman is an MRSP research fellow at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health and a medical student at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Cornell University in 2019. As a medical student, he has been involved in various research topics including pancreatic tumorigenesis, pediatric urology, and complex renal stone disease. At the NIH, David is currently studying applications of artificial intelligence to detection of prostate cancer on MRI imaging under the mentorship of Dr. Baris Turkbey. His involvement spans multiple projects involving genitourinary imaging of urologic malignancies.
