After finished your residence training at the State University of Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Cavalcanti started to work at Souza Aguiar County Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, the most important Trauma Center in the city and one of the most importants in the country. He worked directly on the trauma center during 15 years as urologist and Chief of the Urology Department. To improve his skills on Trauma and Reconstructive Urology he did a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Prof. jack McAninch in 2002. During the last 20 years Dr. Cavalcanti has been fully dedicated to Urological Trauma and Urological Reconstructive Surgery and became one of the leaderships in Brazil on this complex field of the Urology Speciality.
