Scott Lundy is the Male Infertility Section Head, Reproductive Urology Fellowship Director, and Clinical Andrology Lab Director in the Glickman Urological Institute at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Lundy completed his BS in Bioengineering at the University of Texas at Austin and his combined MD/PhD degrees at the University of Washington in Seattle, where his doctoral thesis focused on stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. He then completed his urology residency and reproductive urology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, where he is currently a staff surgeon-scientist with a clinical focus on male infertility and fertility preservation. Dr. Lundy is also a certified High Complexity Lab Director (HCLD) and oversees two Clinical Andrology Labs and sits on the ABB HCLD Content Committee. He currently serves as Director of Coding and Billing for the CCF Urology Department and sits on the AUA national Coding and Reimbursement Committee. From a research perspective, Dr. Lundy holds an appointment in the Genomic Medicine Institute of the Lerner Research Institute at Cleveland Clinic, and he maintains an active basic science laboratory with an emphasis on the male reproductive microbiome, the role of sperm in early embryo development, and in vitro spermatogenesis. Dr. Lundy has published over 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts to date in high-impact journals including European Urology, Nature Communications, Fertility & Sterility, the Journal of Urology, and the Gold Journal. He has received over 15 competitive grants and has mentored over 40 trainees to date. Dr. Lundy is passionate about collaboration and is the founder of the MOBYUS (moby.us) reproductive urology research consortium.
