Resident
Dr. Mario de Angelis graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in July 2019. Since January 2021, he has been a medical resident in Urology at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, under the direction of Professor Francesco Montorsi.
From May 2023 to April 2024, he completed a research fellowship at the Department of Urology at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal, focusing on urologic tumors. His main research interests include innovations in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer, non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, and muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
Starting in November 2024, he will begin a clinical fellowship in robotic surgery at OLV Hospital in Aalst, Belgium.
Dr. de Angelis is the author of over 100 publications in the field of urology and uro-oncology, featured in leading European and international peer-reviewed journals.
