Thomas J. Walsh, MD, MS is a University of Washington Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Urology, Medical Director of the UW Male Fertility Laboratory, Director of The UW Men’s Health Center and Program Director for the University of Washington Andrology Fellowship. Walsh graduated with honors from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his general and urological surgery training at the University of Washington. He received his masters in Epidemiology from the UW School of Public Health while serving as a National Research Service Award fellow. He completed a fellowship in male infertility and sexual dysfunction at the University of California San Francisco and subsequently joined the UCSF urology faculty as the first Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Childhood Health and Human Development Male Reproductive Health Research Scholar. Walsh returned to UW in 2009 to build and lead thr UW Medicine Men’s Health Center, which has grown to be a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence. His clinical and investigative interests focus on male sexual and reproductive health. He has a robust and extramurally funded research program. He is an active contributor to the medical literature as both author and editor.
