Isamu Tachibana, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in urologic malignancies including bladder, kidney, prostate, adrenal, penile, and testicular cancer.
Dr. Tachibana grew up in Texas and earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. He completed a urology residency and urologic oncology fellowship at Indiana University Hospital, where he received advanced training in complex oncologic procedures including retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, procedures for locally advanced kidney cancer, and various urinary diversions such as continent urinary reservoirs, and neobladders.
He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
