Kian Asanad, MD is a fellowship-trained reproductive urologist and men's sexual health specialist at Keck Medicine of USC. He is an Assistant Professor of Urology and Director of the USC Fertility & Men's Sexual Health Center. Dr. Asanad obtained his medical degree from UCLA, completed his residency in Urology at USC, and earned his fellowship in Andrology at Northwestern University under the tutelage of Drs. Bob Brannigan and Nelson Bennett. He is passionate about optimizing fertility preservation for young men undergoing cancer-related therapy as well as restoring sexual function in men after cancer-related pelvic surgery. His research interests include the development of novel biomarkers to predict reproductive outcomes in men with severe male-factor infertility as well as integration of artificial intelligence in men’s health.
