Elie Kaplan-Marans, MD, is Chief Urology Resident at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and an incoming Andrology Fellow at Northwestern University. A graduate of Columbia College and the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health, he earned his MD with Distinction in Research. His academic interests include male infertility, sexual medicine, and the integration of artificial intelligence into urologic care.
Dr. Kaplan-Marans has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications, received multiple national awards—including the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology Traveling Scholar Award and the SSMR/SMSNA Men’s Health Traveling Fellowship Award—and has been recognized by The Journal of Urology as a Top Reviewer of the Year. He is deeply committed to mentorship and medical education. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and dog, and rooting for the New York Knicks.
