Sunao Shoji, MD., PhD., MBA. is a graduate of Tokyo Medical University. He trained in Surgery at the St. Luke’s’ International Hospital Tokyo and Urology at the Tokai University. Shoji was a research fellow of urology at University of Southern California Institute of Urology. Shoji is a chair and Professor in the Department of Urology, Tokai University School of Medicine. Shoji introduced the MRI-TRUS fusion image-guided prostate biopsy to Japan, and has 2000 cases experiences. Based on the diagnosis of the MRI-TRUS fusion image-guided biopsy, Shoji performed 450 cases of the focal therapy with HIFU for the localized prostate cancer.
