Dr. Marco Paciotti is a staff urologist at Humanitas Research Hospital and Assistant Professor of Urology at Humanitas University in Milan, Italy. He completed his medical training at San Raffaele University and his residency in urology at Humanitas University. During residency, he was awarded the SIU-AUA research fellowship and completed a one-year research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, under the mentorship of Dr QD Trinh. Dr. Paciotti subsequently completed a two-year clinical fellowship in robotic surgery at OLV Ziekenhuis, Aalst, under the mentorship of Dr A Mottrie, where he also served as Deputy Medical Director at ORSI Academy.
He is a urological surgeon specializing in uro-oncology and an active researcher with numerous peer-reviewed publications. His work focuses on improving diagnostic and therapeutic pathways in uro-oncology and advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has a strong interest in surgical education and training, serving as a tutor in simulation-based courses and as a robotic surgery proctor. Dr. Paciotti is a member of several national and international societies and research groups, including OCERT (ORSI Consensus European Robotic Training), the YAU Robotic Urology Working Group, the EAU/ESU “Lower Urinary Tract Endoscopy” Working Group, and the ERUS Educational Working Group.
