Stanford University
Nicolas Seranio is a PGY-4 urology resident at Stanford University. He is a native of Southern California with family roots in the American south, Cuba, and Jamaica. He completed his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology at the University of California, Irvine where he hosted the eclectic radio show Beat Surgery at 88.9 FM KUCI. In medical school at the University of Pennsylvania he developed his interest in Urology, galvanized by the loss of his grandfather to prostate cancer. As a resident, he is interested in medical education and runs the Urology Audio Guidelines podcast and the Our Uro YouTube channel. When he is not working he enjoys traveling, exploring the Bay Area food scene, watching live music, and stand up paddle boarding with his wife Camilla. After residency Dr. Nick plans to specialize in voiding dysfunction and sexual medicine for men and women.
