Ms. Abby L. Chen, BS, is a fourth-year medical student at the Stanford University School of Medicine planning on applying into Urology for the 2026 Match. She is originally from San Francisco, CA and graduated from Stanford University in 2020 with a degree in Human Biology. Prior to medical school, she danced professionally as a member of Ballet Austin where she performed many lead roles. As a medical student, she has particular interests in health disparities, medical education and DEI efforts. Her research has focused on oncofertility, disparities in bladder cancer and LUTS. She was Stanford Medical School's representative for the AAMC Herbert W. Nickens Medical Student Scholarship and has co-chaired a number of student groups, including the urology interest group, Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA), and the Stanford University Minority Medical Alliance (SUMMA).
