Marco Moschini, MD, PhD received his medical degree from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy, in 2012, followed by a PhD in Translational Medicine in 2016. He completed his specialization in Urology in Switzerland and undertook advanced clinical and research fellowships in urologic oncology at the Mayo Clinic and at the Medical University of Vienna, with additional dedicated training in robotic surgery in Paris, France.
He is currently a consultant urologist and surgeon at the IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, where he is actively involved in the management of bladder, upper urinary tract, and prostate cancers. His clinical and research focus is centered on non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer, bladder-sparing strategies, intravesical therapies, and minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
Dr. Moschini is an active member of the European Association of Urology (EAU), serving within the Young Academic Urologists (YAU) Urothelial Cancer Group, and is a member of the EAU Guidelines Panels for bladder cancer and upper tract urothelial carcinoma. He is also a member of the International Bladder Cancer Group (IBCG) and is involved in multiple international collaborative research initiatives.
He has authored more than 500 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and regularly serves as a reviewer for leading urological and oncological journals. His research interests focus on clinical trials, translational research, biomarker development, and evidence-based optimization of care in urologic oncology.
