Lynn Stothers is a professor in residence at the University of California Los Angeles cross appointed in Urology and Urogynecology. Lynn completed her urology specialty at the University of British Columbia winning the McLaughlin scholarship which facilitated her subspecialty training in reconstructive urology at UCLA under Dr. Shlomo Raz. During her tenure at UBC Lynn completed her Masters in public health, served as an elected UBC senator and received over 35 awards for scholarly work including the IB Holubitsky award. Lynn’s research has been funded by the NIH, the Kidney foundation of Canada, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Craig H Neilsen Foundation.
In 2023, Lynn completed an additional 2-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine and was an Andrew Weil Scholar in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Her research has led to 15 patents for non-invasive optical measurement of the brain, bladder, pelvic floor and urinary control.
Lynn has served as a proud member for 5 years on the AUA Board of Directors, Urology Care Foundation.
