Dr. Alex Gomelsky is the Mary Ann Cofrin Endowed Professor of Urology, Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, and Associate Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Urology at University of Florida. Dr. Gomelsky was recognized by SUFU in 2012 with the annual Paul Zimskind Award given for excellence and leadership in the field of female urology. He served as a Southeastern Section Representative to the AUA Leadership Program from 2008 to 2010. He has contributed to several AUA Guidelines and serves on the AUA/ABU Written and Oral Exam Committees. He is currently the Vice President of SUFU.
