Deborah Rinehart, PhD is the Associate Director of the Research Methods Core and a Senior Research Scientist in the Center for Health Systems Research in the Office of Research at Denver Health and an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado. Dr. Rinehart has been working in behavioral health research for 25 years and has been conducting health services research in a safety-net health setting for the last fourteen years. Her specific areas of research interest include maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, and the integration of behavioral and physical health services. Her research utilizes qualitative and quantitative methods to develop and evaluate the impact of behavioral health interventions. She received her PhD in Health and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Colorado and MA in Health Psychology from the University of Northern Arizona.
