Gary Rice is an accomplished Senior Executive, Advisor, and Thought Leader with more than 40 years of success across the pharmaceutical industry. His broad areas of expertise include healthcare, sales management, operations management, business development, clinical, and program management.
Gary joined MedImpact Direct, LLC, a subsidiary of MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc in May 2020 as the General Manager and Specialty Solutions directing its specialty pharmacy distribution, services, and enterprise-wide specialty pharmacy strategy. In Nov 2022, His position was changed to Senior Advisor at MedImpact working with the executive team on clinical and specialty strategy activities.
He has also served as the Executive Vice President, Operations, Clinical Services, and Education for Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy where he provided leadership, strategy, and planning for all operational and clinical functions across Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, ensuring consistency and effectiveness, and lead the development of strong business relationships.
Gary graduated with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences in Boston. He also earned his Master of Science in pharmacy from the University of Houston in conjunction with a ASHP Pharmacy Residency and completed his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is also a Board-Certified Specialty Pharmacist.
