Aimee Near is a Principal within the Real World Solutions team at IQVIA. In this position, she serves as an advisor and partner to life sciences clients on real world evidence strategy and in executing health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) studies to generate evidence to optimize appropriate patient access to emerging and established pharmaceuticals, devices, and diagnostics. Aimee has over 14 years of experience, gained working within CROs, HEOR consulting, academia, and the non-profit sector. Her expertise in observational research study design spans a variety of therapeutic areas, with considerable expertise in oncology HEOR. She has published her research in well-known peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at scientific conferences. Prior to joining IQVIA, Aimee served as the Director of Comparative Effectiveness and Modeling Research at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Aimee holds an MPH in Epidemiology and a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Michigan.
