Rick leads the actuarial and reinsurance underwriting team at Summit Re. Prior to joining Summit Re in 2019, he worked for 15 years in consulting and industry, focusing on Medicaid transformation, health reform policy analysis, risk adjusted revenue programs, ACO risk sharing, data management and predictive modeling, and ACA product development. Rick earned degrees in mathematics from St. Olaf College and the University of Nebraska, and was a Policy Fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two children.
