Jennifer Pigoga, PhD, MPH, MSc, serves as a Lead Data Scientist for CVS Health Clinical Trial Services. Dr. Pigoga holds both a Master of Science and PhD in Emergency Medicine (focused on the clinical applications of machine learning) from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Pigoga has over 10 years of experience in epidemiology research with the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other public health institutions. Her current work with Clinical Trial Services focuses on leveraging claims-based data to improve health outcomes via safety surveillance for a range of pharmaceutical products.
