Hester “Fritz” Petropoulos has been the Education Coordinator for the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District since 2016. In her six years at the District, she has developed education programs for first, second, fourth, and sixth graders. In addition to writing over 15 vector-related songs, she has also published a children’s book about mosquitoes called Grandmother Mosquito. Mrs. Petropoulos is a credentialed teacher and prior to working at OC Vector, she taught for 15 years in private and public schools.
