As BCI's founding director, she serves as chief strategist and program director;
she incorporates an interdisciplinary approach to take ideas through to realization. Her role in the program management includes project design, conceptualize protocols and strategies within the organizational framework, and budget planning. She leads the team to evaluate, produce and use endemic beneficial arthropods and entomopathogenic organisms, for their use as biological control of medically important vector (mosquito) species.
