Ben Gigliotti, MD is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center where he is a junior academic clinical Endocrinologist/Thyroidologist and director of the Wolk Thyroid Clinic. Dr. Gigliotti received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Rochester, where he stayed on to train as a resident in Internal Medicine and to subsequently serve as chief resident. He completed his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital where he studied the molecular pathology and immune microenvironment of advanced thyroid cancers. In 2018, he returned to the University of Rochester to join the faculty in the URMC Endocrine Division. His primary focus is as a clinical educator, working with students, residents, and fellows; he currently serves as course director for the Endocrine disease block for 2nd year UR medical students. He is a member of the editorial boards for Clinical Thyroidology and Thyroid journals, and serves on committees through the ATA and Endocrine Society.
