Upon completion, participants will be able to demonstrate proficient knowledge of the proper preparations needed for a successful thyroid nodule fine needle aspiration procedure.
Upon competion, particiant will be able to review common techniques for fine needle aspriation (i.e. parallel vs perpendicular and aspiration vs capillary action) along with the benefits and potential shortcomings of each.
Upon competion, participants will be able to define the role of fine needle aspiration in the localization of parathyroid adenomas.
