Farahnaz Rayatdoost obtained her bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Physiology from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran in 2008. She worked as Research and Development Manager for almost 8 years in Iran. She established lots of studies and practical research projects with universities and research institutes about dairy cows and sheep. Then in 2016, she was fully funded for her master's study by European Union. In 2019, she got her joint master's degree in Animal Science from Aarhus University in Denmark and Wageningen University in the Netherlands. During her time of master's study, she mainly focused on studying physiology and metabolism in pigs as an important model of human disease and nutrition.
Then, later in 2019, she joined the research group on experimental hemostasis at the Department of Anesthesiology, Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, Germany as a Ph.D. student. Her research field is designing and performing pre-clinical studies: In vivo (using animal models), In vitro, and Ex vivo in experimental hemostasis, physiology, and metabolism.
