Anja Plender, MD, graduated two years ago as a medical doctor and, while working as a clinical doctor, she conducted research at the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk, the Netherlands. She finished her bachelor degree that focused on pre-med and public health at Amsterdam University College summa cum laude. Next, she followed a special side-track at VU University in Amsterdam to obtain her medical degree. She is currently working as a medical doctor at the internal medicine department of Amsterdam Academic Medical Center and wishes to specialize in internal medicine in the future.
