Huijie Wang is a PhD candidate at the Department of Clinical Epidemiology, Leiden University Medical Center. Her research revolves mostly around the association between different environmental and biochemical factors and the risk of first and recurrent thrombosis in the elderly. She has presented at both international and dutch national conferences and published on topics regarding venous thrombosis. Her research interests lie in the area of cardiovascular epidemiology.
