Michelle Kraft, MLS, AHIP is the Director of Library Services at the Cleveland Clinic Health System. As Director, Michelle works toward providing services and resources to the entire Cleveland Clinic Health System. Due to the diverse nature of the hospitals within the system, providing resources and services can be a challenge, she is always working towards the goal of providing the same quality resources services across the health system’s libraries to support patient care, research and education.
Michelle has served as Board Member of the Medical Library Association and later she served as President of the association. She is very active in technology and education. She has authored several articles on the use of technology in the library and the use of social media in librarianship. She is the author of the Krafty Librarian, a blog focused on the interests of medical librarianship and can be found discussing librarianship and Cleveland Browns football on Twitter as @Krafty.
