Joy Rodriguez is a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Samuel Merritt University (SMU), Fresno campus. Prior to joining SMU in 2021, she was a Medical & Copyright Librarian at Kaiser Permanente at the Fresno Medical Center. In that role she provided education and information support services for physicians and staff throughout the Northern California region. Joy has a BA in History from San Diego State University, an MLIS from San Jose State University and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking crocheting, camping and hiking.
