Library Manager and Associate Professor of Library and Learning Resources, Liaison to Pharmacy, Acupuncture, and Graduate Programs. Irena teaches several courses in the area of Cheminformatics, Evidence-based Medicine (EBM), Drug Information, and Global Health. She is the recipient of several National Library of Medicine (NLM) grants and co-principle investigator of two community health information outreach projects targeting underserved populations. Irena is also the recipient of two Librarians without Borders awards and has developed and delivered library instruction training at major universities in Peru (2011), Tanzania (2013), and Vietnam (2018).
