Tony Nguyen, MLIS, AHIP, is the Executive Director of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 1 located at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. His role is to provide leadership, development, and administration of all NNLM programs and initiatives in Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Tony Nguyen is an active member of the Medical Library Association. He has served in other areas such as the Nominating Committee, Column Editor of the MLA Connect Online Newsletter, and various leadership and membership roles in various caucuses and committees. Additionally, he is an active member of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association.
