Margot Malachowski, MLS, AHIP, is an Education and Outreach Coordinator for the National Network of the National Library of Medicine in Region 7. Region 7 serves Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. She provides training and support for educators, librarians, community- and faith-based organizations. Prior to coming to the NNLM, Margot worked as a medical librarian for Baystate Health (Springfield, MA) from 2008-2016. She worked in public libraries in Massachusetts and North Carolina from 1996-2008. Margot writes articles and book chapters on libraries and health information. She has delivered posters, lightning presentations and panel discussions for Artists in Context, Association of Rural and Small Libraries, Central New York Library Resources Council, Connecticut Public Health Association, Dartmouth College Library October Conference, Maine Library Association, Massachusetts Library Association, Medical Library Association, National Health Promotion Summit, North Atlantic Health Sciences Library Conference and Rhode Island Library Association.
