Research & Instruction for College of Health Sciences
As a Research & Instruction Librarian for the College of Health Sciences at Sam Houston State University I provide support for faculty and students for our departments of Family & Consumer Sciences, Population Health, Kinesiology, and our School of Nursing. I am engaged in Interprofessional Education initiatives on our campus and collaborate in interdisciplinary education. I am also active in a faculty learning community on community engaged research. As a health sciences librarian I am passionate about increasing health literacy on our campus and instruction of credible information resources. I am also passionate about the All of Us Research Program and the platform and data it provides to increase diversity and inclusion in biomedical research.
