Jordan Dias Correia, MLIS, is a PhD student at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. His research focuses on alleviating stigma and barriers for transgender people within healthcare settings and interactions. He looks at the information behavior of transgender people in order to develop evidence-based interventions that supports healthcare professionals in delivering transgender healthcare access and delivery in service of health justice. He received his Bachelor's and Master's from Syracuse University.
