Niki Kirkpatrick is an assistant professor and health sciences librarian at the John C. Hodges Library, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In her current position, she provides instruction and research support for the College of Nursing and the Departments of Audiology & Speech Pathology, Nutrition, and Public Health. Along with her membership in MLA, she is also a member of MLA’s Southern Chapter and other state-level organizations. Kirkpatrick obtained her MLIS from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research interest focuses on evidence-based approaches to digital and virtual resources and applications in support of student success and academic retention.
