Mitsi H. Lizer is an accreditation services associate in ASHP's Accreditation Services Division. Mitsi has been an ASHP lead surveyor since 2016, conducting accreditation site surveys for pharmacy residency programs throughout the United States. Mitsi earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University Of Michigan College Of Pharmacy in Ann Arbor, MI. She comes to ASHP from the Iowa City VA Health Care System, where she was a clinical pharmacy specialist in mental health from 2014 to 2015. Previously, she worked at Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy in Winchester, Va., for more than 20 years attaining the rank of professor. Mitsi was director of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Psychiatric Residency Program at Shenandoah University/Winchester Medical Center. In addition to clinical and residency responsibilities, she has served on various university, hospital, community, and national committees. Mitsi is a board-certified psychiatric pharmacist and a member of the College of Psychiatric & Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) and ASHP.
