Who We Are
The International Association of Human Trafficking Investigators (IAHTI) is a not-for profit organization that is proud to be the international leader in human trafficking education. We work with law enforcement, prosecutors, analysts and victim service providers throughout the world to provide the most up-to-date human trafficking and ICAC training, investigative techniques and technology. Our training is conducted by experts who have real world human trafficking investigation experience, whereas other educators can only teach what they’ve learned from a manual. We are experts connecting human trafficking investigators with the knowledge, tools and resources needed to effectively reach more victims and prosecute their traffickers.
IAHTI CONFERENCES
The IAHTI hosts annual training conferences for human trafficking practitioners. The conferences provide case studies, tools and technology for investigators and include valuable input from survivors. The presenters are experts in the human trafficking field from across the world. One of the most valuable portions of our conferences are the networking opportunities.
Membership Information
IAHTI offers several different types of membership opportunities. These range from community member to entire agencies. Whether you are joining to sponsor a cause you are passionate about or joining as an investigator, prosecutor or crime analyst for the information sharing aspect of our members forum we have an option for you.
Online Training
IAHTI offers several interactive online courses designed to expand your knowledge on human trafficking, and empower you to make your community safer. The course contains real stories and videos. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of completion. We offer courses for community members in English and Spanish along with courses for Law Enforcement and other corporate employees. In Person Training
IAHTI offers in-person training for task forces, agencies or specialty units. Contact us today to discuss training opportunities. Over the past decade we have provided training for agencies in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
Human Trafficking Technology and Intelligence Center
IAHTI and Anti-Predator Project have partnered to establish the Human Trafficking Technology and Intelligence Center. The HTTIC headquarters is located inside a law enforcement facility to ensure data is protected. There are satellite locations across the United States. These centers provide a database of offender information that is provided to Investigators at no cost to enhance their cases. As information sharing between jurisdictions is an issue nationwide, the HTTIC will provide a database along with analytical capabilities for Investigators. The HTTIC will support all types of active and cold case human trafficking investigations along with active and cold case missing persons cases.

The St. Petersburg Police Department has a team of eight Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) detectives assigned to the Tampa Bay Human Trafficking Task Force.
