How We Develop Standards

HSO’s Technical Committees lead the development of our standards and contribute to our vision for safer care and a healthier world. Each Technical Committee works with an HSO project team to ensure the standard is evidence-informed, people-centred, and built on consensus—all with the goal of making health care better, safer, and more equitable for people in Canada and around the world.
